Shea butter, from the nut of a Central African tree, is a gentle, multi-purpose moisturizer that absorbs readily into the skin leaving it feeling soft and well moisturized, yet not greasy. This amazingly gentle skin protectant and healant is safe for use on all sensitive areas of the body; may be used on babies’ delicate skin with confidence. Makes a wonderful, natural personal lubricant. Relieves post menopausal dryness. Effectively shrinks hemorrhoids. It can be used safely as a diabetic foot care cream. Works wonders on hands that get a lot of rough treatment. Effectively treats general dermatitis, dry scalp, eczema, dry-skin redness and chapping, as well as helping keep skin supple during pregnancy. Works as a soothing, healing, anti-inflammatory on sunburns and rosacea. Additionally, it makes a good unflavored and unscented lip balm. Apply sparingly; a little goes a long way. No color added.
One of Colyne's customers told her that her eczema is so severe as to make her hands bleed. She mixed equal portions of shea butter with Orange Rosemary Hand & Foot Care Cream and applied it three times a day. Three months later, she reported that her hands no longer bleed and her eczema has gone away.
To use: Apply sparingly as needed to extra dry skin on the hands, feet, elbows and lips. To treat dry scalp or hair, apply to scalp, wrap head in towel and wait for anywhere from one hour to overnight and shampoo out. When used during pregnancy, it helps skin remain supple.
